Balletboyz – Young Men Film (2016)

Young Men is a feature-length dance film without dialogue shot on location in Northern France featuring dancers from BalletBoyz dance company. Based on the hugely successful stage production that premiered at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in 2014, it is choreographed by Iván Pérez with a commissioned score by singer songwriter Keaton Henson. Young Men received a nomination for the highly renowned Golden Prague award. In September 2017 the film won the Rose d’Or award in the Arts Category, an award which rewards originality, quality and creativity and sets the gold standard of excellence in entertainment programming.

The production is realised by Artistic Directors Michael Nunn and William Trevitt who were formerly leading dancers with The Royal Ballet. Since forming their own company in 2001.

Jennifer White performed in the dance film alongside the Balletboyz after two great runs at Sadlers Wells Theatre.
